Olivet College in commemorating its 174th year by attending the Founders’ Day Celebration on Wednesday, February 21 at 1:30 p.m. in the Olivet Congregational Church. This year’s program features comments from Olivet College President Steven M. Corey, Ph.D., and keynote speaker, alumna Cassie McDonald Ross ’13. 

Immediately following the program in the Congregational Church, a prayer will be offered at the bell in the Square and, weather permitting, a wreath-laying ceremony in memory and honor of founder “Father” John J. Shipherd and others who continued his work will occur in the cemetery at his gravesite. A reception will follow in the Kirk Center. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served.

FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will host a prayer service for those affected by Florida School Shooting  in Mott Auditorium Wednesday, February 21st from 8-8:30pm. We will pray for those affected by the shooting in Florida, for the families involved, and for our nation as a whole in respect to violence and gun violence. We will pray as one whole, and then as smaller groups around the room.
